SMCFI Alumni Homecoming 2026

The Simbayanan Alumni., came alive with laughter, nostalgia, and warm embraces as alumni from Batches 1990 to 2026 gathered for a truly historic Alumni Homecoming. This year’s reunion carried a deeper significance as the community formally celebrated the 35th Anniversary of SMCFI, honoring three and a half decades of academic excellence, shared values, and community impact. The evening kicked off with a heartfelt opening address from Joan Cruzate, the SMCFI Alumni President. Cruzate welcomed everyone back home—from the pioneer batches of 1989 to the newest graduates of 2026—emphasizing that the 35 year legacy of SMCFI lives on through the achievements and dedication of its alumni. The event was graced by beloved community figures Ms. Corazon A. Danan and Mr. Casimiro C. Soner, who delivered moving inspirational messages. Their words reminded the alumni of the core values instilled in them during their time at SMCFI and challenged everyone to continue carrying that light into their respective fields as the institution steps into its next chapter. Hearts melted and smiles widened during a special video presentation dedicated to reminiscing about the "good old days." The crowd journeyed back in time through a montage of photographs, campus milestones, and shared memories stretching across the 35 year history of the foundation. A key highlight of the evening was the election of the new Alumni Officers. The community proudly welcomed its newly elected President, Mr. Christian Sayno. In his introduction, Sayno expressed his commitment to building on the association's success and creating more opportunities for alumni engagement as the school celebrates this major milestone. No homecoming is complete without capturing the moment. Batches proudly gathered for group photo opportunities, immortalizing their reunions with wide smiles and batch banners. The night concluded with a festive dinner, where old friends caught up, shared life updates, and toasted to the unbreakable bonds formed at SMCFI.
